HT-002 Turn on the Satellite Reception and Home Theatre System
  
 
Situation
 
You want to turn off the TV.
 
Procedure

 Turn off the Television. The easiest way is to press the "TV I/O" button at the top centre of the home theatre remote control. Alternatively, you can press the Power On/Off switch on the TV remote control.

 Mute the sound coming from the Home Theatre Unit. Press the "Muting" button on the HT remote control; it is in the upper right quadrant of the unit.

There is no need to turn off the satellite controller unless you want to. It will turn itself off when you start the boat engine. If you leave it up and don't move the boat, you won't have to search for a satellite the next time that you turn on the TV.

You must park the dish and turn off the controller if you are leaving the boat for an extended period of time.

To turn off the dish and controller:

  • Turn on the engine ignition, but don't start the engine. Turn it off again, and wait for the satellite dish to park itself completely.
  • Point the satellite remote control at the satellite control unit detector (a small black disk stuck to the front of the shelf on which the home theatre unit is installed) and press the red "I/O" button at the upper centre of the satellite remote control unit. The signal light in the controller display panel will change from green to red.
